Bathroom fire snuffed out at Powassan school
Powassan OPP are investigating a deliberately set fire in a boy's washroom at Maple Ridge Public School Tuesday afternoon. The call came in around 1:45 pm with students evacuated to the senior's facility on Edward Street. The Powassan Volunteer Fire Department put out the fire and police say there was no report of any injuries. The school was then deemed safe and the students returned.
